The most westerly community in Toronto, Markland Wood was literally built within a forest in the 1960's. Situated along Bloor St. West, Markland Wood is bounded on the north by Burnhamthorpe Rd, on the west by the Etobicoke Creek, and Elmwood Creek (Rathburn) to the East.
